Like all good projects, The Fifth Dimensional Tavern started out with a decade long D&D campaign that gradually inspired the participants to make our own content and share it with the wider world.
Our core members all came with a love of fantasy that began in different places but intersected around shared interests in crafting worlds and games.
It's really hard to write a group bio that doesn't sound like it was written by chat GPT, but we guarantee all our work from the writing to the art contains no algorithmically generated content.
We named our group 5D tavern because no three dimensional shape contains enough dark corners for all the edgy rogues, mysterious wizards and ominous quest-givers.
Igor has been deep into escapism since childhood, with teachers and adults complaining that he spends more time in the clouds than in reality. Later in his life he decided that this quirk is something to be embraced than shunned and continued down the path of fantasy.
Igor is the creative lead of the team and the person responsible for enforcing deadlines on our projects (he withholds hero points from people who are behind schedule).
Heroes of Might and Magic might be Igor's most formative game as most of his family has had some contact with the franchise during his life. He and and his sister still play it on occasion for that good nostalgia.
Mason's fascination with RPGs and fantasy began with being laughed at for trying to imitate the poses of a Final Fantasy character they saw on their cousin's PlayStation 2. Two decades later they would be diagnosed with autism and many things would begin to retroactively make sense.
Mason works mostly on the writing side of the team, focusing on mechanics and flavour.
"You know you've gone too deep searching for a highly specific pathfinder problem when the first result is a scientific paper."
Hi I'm Hanin! I drew all the characters that you see in this supplement! Other than these character illustrations, I also draw hamsters. You can find more of my work here and my itch profile here.
